Operating System: Windows Vista. Vista has been tested on Fastsell, Liquornex, Restaurology, and Bookseller, and there are no known problems, but if you have a Vista operating system try the demo for the software you are interested in extensively on your Vista machine. Vista is highly compatible with most of the applications written for Microsoft Windows XP. In addition, Vista has a backward compatibility mode for applications as did XP. There are still many reported operating problems with Vista. Many developers are removing Vista and replacing it with XP. In fact Microsoft has offered a year of support to try to resolve user problems, and many users are removing Vista from their PCs. We recommend if at all possible that you use XP or Windows 2000 for your point of sale system until Vista is more stable.

Microsoft stopped providing PC makers with XP to preload on new PCs June 30, 2007. Free Microsoft XP support is available through the Microsoft web site until April of 2008 and paid support is available until 2014.

Depending on yoru machine, although your Fastsell, Liquornex, Restaurology, and Bookseller demo may run on 98 or ME support for these operating systems stopped in 2006. Your delivered new updated version WILL NOT run on 98 or ME.
